I have browsed your tree with great interest as my line is TOWLE from Nottingham, England.
I am particularly interested in the DARKER connection and after studying your tree I've a feeling that something is not quite correct. I think I may be able to throw some light on things and also add to your tree. I'd be happy to exchange info.

Hello Uncle Tom... I just wanted to correct you... my father Christopher Harold Towle did not die in 1988 it was 1998 as my son was 6 months old when he passed away please fix this up ... kind regards Debbie

I have been intrigued with your blog as I have a comprehensive Family Tree of the Tull(Towle) family of Stapleford. It dates from 1470 and the latest entry is 1975. Both my sister and I are included.
Your tree has the same members as mine.I am amazed.
One which intrigues me is 5 children which it says are by John Borlase Warren Esq of Stapleford Hall. Do you know any more on this? He was a very respected man.

A comprehensive resume of the Towle family tree will be many many people as there were lots of sons & Daughters. I am a direct descendant too. My 'line' is :-John B.1513 -Richard B. 1547- Henry B.1580 - John B.1631 - Samuel B 1673 - John B.1700 - John B.1733 - Andrew B. 1766 (Andrew moved away from Stapleford and he finally settled in Manchester ) - Christopher B.1803 - Elizabeth B.1846, married Morris (or Maurice) Davis - Rachel Davis B. 1879, married Frank Wiggins - Beryl Wiggins B.1919, married Keith Gordon, they are my parents.
Ironically I have ended up not 5 miles from Stapleford, the route our family took being Manchester (Salford and Chorlton cum Hardy) Worthing Windsor and London. My branch of the Towle name has now ended relatives being girls and one boy who was adopted (named Franklin) but never married.
